Transformation and Business Change To identify as the point of escalation for all PAS transformation activities, to be communicated with the project manager. To play a key role in the implementation of complex operational transformations and projects related to the implementation of Patient Administration System (PAS) Electronic Patient Record (EPR). Analyse the impact of new processes on clinical areas, working closely with the PAS EPR project manager. This may include requirements for training, equipment or amendments to current job roles and responsibilities. To work as part of the transformation team through all elements of change, including: mapping current ways of working; designing and agreeing new ways of working; planning and project management; stakeholder engagement; implementing change at the front-line. Understand and mitigate complex issues that arise within the workstream. Contribute to the successful delivery of all workstreams and support where required to ensure a successful EPR programme delivery. Support the development and undertaking of operational readiness assessments. The post holder should also support with the design and post implementation reviews and lessons learnt, and transition to business as usual (BAU). To respond to changing business requirements and use skills to support other areas of programme delivery as and when required. Interpret national guidelines and policies and communicate and ensure alignment with project delivery. Be responsible for their own projects or work streams within a project and to clarify the requirements. To work on such projects independently, or with support from colleagues. Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation building effective working relationships to produce joint recommendations with colleagues on new ways of working, policies, strategic issues and new initiatives. Manages project auditing and ensure lessons learned are recorded and enforced for best practice. Communication Communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively, verbally and in writing. Communicate contentious and sensitive information appropriately. Deliver highly complex presentations to various Trust level staff. Communicate risks in escalation as required in an appropriate manner. Persuade Board members to address best possible outcome. Negotiate flexibly to ensure the best outcome for the patient and service staff. Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, external service provider representatives, and peer NHS organisation representatives. To ensure proactive and effective stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels of the organisation. Manage difficult conversations with staff who may be distressed or emotional Professional/Personal Development The post holder will need to develop and maintain their own knowledge of developments and legislation relevant to the service area and ensure that each function reflects current professional guidance and standards. The post holder will take responsibility for his or her own professional development, identifying training and educational needs and agreeing ways of addressing these with the EPR Programme Manager.
