Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Central Belt, with travel to sites across Scotland, NW, and NE England

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Installation and Commissioning: Carry out the installation and commissioning of commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating systems, and other gas appliances in various commercial settings.
• Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. This includes conducting safety checks and fault diagnosis.
• Repair and Emergency Response: Provide prompt and efficient repair services for any gas-related issues. Be available for emergency call-outs to address urgent gas safety concerns.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and provide necessary documentation to clients and regulatory bodies.
• Customer Interaction: Liaise with clients to provide updates on work progress and offer technical advice. Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, including new technologies and changes in regulations, to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Gas Safe Registered: Must hold a valid Gas Safe registration for commercial gas work.
• Relevant Certifications: City & Guilds or SVQ in Service & Maintenance.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, preferably in a variety of commercial settings.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating systems, and gas safety regulations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair complex gas system faults.
• Driving License: Full, clean UK driving license is required as the role involves traveling to various client sites.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to handle emergency call-outs and work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
