Transport Administrator - Part Time

Salary: £20k
Location: Billingham, Teesside
Hours: 11:00 - 17:30 - Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week

Part Time, Permanent Role

We are currently representing a powerhouse in the logistics and transport industry, and they are looking to increase their team due to growth and opportunities arising within the business. Work as part of a professional team and get involved with an ever-growing industry.

The Key Duties of the Transport Administrator

  • Supporting drivers to use the HR & Payroll system to submit timesheets and expenses
  • Checking and authorising driver timesheets
  • Helping drivers with basic questions about their pay & raising pay queries to the payroll team
  • Stock Control & ordering (including Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Administration of Tachograph data (driving hours and activities)
  • Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) administration
  • General administrative tasks
  • The job holder has a responsibility to carry his/her duties in an efficient and conscientious manner and meet the key performance indicator requirements of the position.


The Key Responsibilities of the Transport Administrator

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • IT skills, including Word and Excel
  • Previous administrative experience required
  • Educated to GCSEs level or equivalent, including Maths and English
