We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our dynamic catering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our students and staff receive nutritious and delicious meals in a welcoming environment. What you do:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support the catering team with food presentation and service during meal times.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service to students and staff.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a food service or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering quality service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
