Do you love sport and want to work in a role that allows you to do something that you are passionate about every day?

Would you like to be part of our ambitious future, working within sector leading sports facilities providing health, wellbeing, and exercise opportunities for our university communities, including international and elite athletes?

If so, we would love you to join our team of Sports Assistants and Lifeguards based at the David Ross Sports Village on our Nottingham campus.

A team player, you will bring a passion for customer care and a desire to deliver excellent service to the role. Working on a rota basis, you will ensure the highest standards of facility operation, set up and delivery of activities and large events, as well as providing safe supervision of customers and lifeguard cover of our 25-meter indoor swimming pool.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a generous holiday allowance of 26 days plus 8 public holidays, pension scheme and access to leisure and childcare facilities across our campuses.

Candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to their working week, noting that evening, weekend, and work over public holidays will be required. Core hours for the David Ross Sports Village are 6.00am to 11.00pm.

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
