Located in the historical market town of Epsom in Surrey, our client has been providing expert animal care for many years. Due to recent expansion, they are seeking an experienced and friendly Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The practice is ideally situated close to the town centre, within a 7-minute walk of Epsom train station and offers free onsite parking.

The practice has a growing client base, resulting in a wide variety of interesting cases. Consultations are 15 minutes as standard, but 30 minutes are allocated for puppy vaccinations and new clients. The facility is modern and fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound with Doppler, and a growing orthopaedic kit, along with separate dog, cat, and isolation wards.

You will be working alongside an experienced group of veterinary professionals, including two vets (one with a certificate in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery), four RVNs, two student nurses, veterinary care assistants, receptionists, and a practice manager. The work environment is supportive and progressive, with a strong emphasis on further learning opportunities for all team members. The practice is also an approved nurse training centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet confident in all routine surgical and medical cases. Our client seeks someone passionate about training and developing the team. A specific interest in ophthalmology, imaging, or cardiology would be desirable.
