Title: Interim Lawyer - ASC (Legal Services )
Job Ref: Northumberland 4951
Pay Rate: £32.97 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 35-37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2 months
City: MORPETH
Adult Social Care Lawyer with 2 years PQE to join our dynamic, busy and friendly team.
Key responsibilities:
Advising in-house clients and colleagues on a range of Adult Services issues including safeguarding, capacity and mental health.
Drafting applications and orders.
Attending court.
Liaising with private practice law firms, counsel and other external bodies.
Qualifications:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives holding a current practising certificate.
Knowledge
Existing knowledge of Adult Social Care law preferred.
Experience:
Previous legal experience in ASC - preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Need an eye for detail and good organisational skills which will enable you to carry your own caseload.
