Our client Scottish Power are currently recruiting for a Solution Architect (PKI) to join their team based in Glasgow on a contract basis initially. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a background in PKI. For more information on this role see below:

Cyber security is one of the defining topics of our age, and cyber risk represents one of the most significant strategic risks to the UK’s critical national infrastructure. At Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) you will have the opportunity to approach this risk head on. SPEN have invested significantly in an ambitious security transformation programme to transparently reduce risk, achieve compliance with NIS regulations and deliver a cyber resilient business.

Reporting into the Cyber Security Architecture Lead, the Solution Architect role is a critical role in delivering our Cyber Security Program. The role holder will ensure that an internal PKI solution is designed, implemented and ready to be operated.
This position requires the ability to design a technical solution and to document it within a HLD and LLD.
The Solution Architect will support procurement activities, including the vendor selection process. This role will also require developing a framework for standardised onboarding of new systems and assist in the creation of an operating model for the new PKI solution.
The role holder will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve their objectives.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

? Advanced understanding of Public Key Infrastructure
? Experienced in designing technical and security solutions
? Experienced in designing, implementing, or operating a PKI solution
? Experienced in designing operating models and frameworks
? Excellent at stakeholder management and engagement
? Able to analyse problems, identify core issues and recommend appropriate solutions
? Able to influence key technical and non-technical stakeholders in relation to required security strategy
? Recognised qualifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, CISM etc.)
? Familiar with the NIS regulation and the NCSC CAF (Cybersecurity Assessment Framework)
? Understanding of Operational Technology
