Sports Centre Manager
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£29,403 - £31,350 per annum

We are looking for a Sport Centre manager to work at our newly refurbished Sports Centre at our Easton campus. We are very keen to hear from candidates who have management experience working in a complex operation and who have a very good knowledge of both Sports/Leisure Centre operations and programming sports and leisure activities.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of a wide range of sports facilities at our Easton Campus, including a full sized 3G pitch, sports hall, newly refurbished fitness centre including a dance studio. In addition to this the successful applicant will oversee the hiring of conference rooms, classrooms and meeting space across campus.

Our Norwich Campus also has several facilities that the post holder oversees; another Sports Hall, two dance studios and once again, conference rooms, classrooms, and meeting space.
The team the successful candidate manages is made up of several Sports Centre Technicians who as well as supporting in all the commercial activity also assist the academic team to deliver high quality education to our students.

The two goals for this post are to maximise income across all of our facilities whilst ensuring the team is offering high quality support to our students and staff.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and leadership qualities and a natural ability to problem solve and whilst overseeing customers across two locations.
You will need a take a flexible approach to your working week, which is a 37-hour contract, working 5 days out of 7. You will manage your own rota and be expected to work some shifts during the week and some weekends.
