The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and support to the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing financial reporting and analysis
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting process
- Strategic planning and providing statutory reporting information
- Providing financial advice and support to the management team
- Overseeing financial systems and controls
- Managing the month-end and year-end closing process
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a qualified accountant with a strong analytical mind and a passion for numbers. You should be able to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.
Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and logical decision making with a hands-on approach
- Proven experience in financial control and management reporting
- Previous experience of commercial procurement and purchasing would be preferred
- Proficiency in Xero financial accounting software would be advantageous
