Birmingham Healthy Minds is a team of mental health professionals and psychological therapists working across Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated administrator to join the Birmingham Healthy Minds team to cover all sites as and when they are short staffed.

You will provide an effective, efficient, and confidential administrative service to support the clinical team. There is a need to be able to work within a busy work environment with accuracy and to tight deadlines. Ability to prioritise your workload and act on your own initiative is essential. The post holder will work closely with the team managers and members of the Admin Team and will play a key role in ensuring that admin tasks are completed with due diligence.

You will need OCR/RSA II Typing/Text Processing or equivalent and English & Maths ‘O’ Level/GCSE or equivalent. Previous experience of various computer packages, as well as minute taking are also a requirement. Experience of using Microsoft Office products, an excellent typing speed with a high level of accuracy are essential plus experience of using IAPTus and RIO.

The post holder will be required to cover across all the BHM sites across the cityand work closely with other members of the Admin Team, co-ordinating a successful and efficient interface between the service and external agencies on behalf of the managerial team.

To be responsible for the smooth running of the service, dealing sensitively with any complaints, problems or issues arising highlighting and where necessary referring the situation to the relevant manager as appropriate.
