We are now recruiting Mobile Gas Engineers to cover the Nottingham and Leicester area postcodes

Salary - £41,917.83 per annum plus standby allowance c£290 per week, when on rota, and appropriate overtime rate when attending the call, 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays.
Contract Type: Permanent
Permanent contract, full time 37.5 hours per week. Typical attendance will be 08:00 until 16:00 Monday to Friday. You will be required to join the area stand-by / call out rota to cover out of hours calls on a 1 in 4 week rotational basis.
The Role
As a Mobile Gas Engineer you'll provide technical diagnosis and solutions, performing routine maintenance checks in relation to Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems with some electrical maintenance. You'll perform fault finding, maintenance, repair and installation of these systems and will regularly liaise with customers.
Working across a specified region you'll be required travel. You'll report directly into the Technical Service Manager, working with customers, other engineers and sub-contractors on a daily basis. About You
Must hold a Commercial gas qualification/certification either COCN1 or CODNCO1 and must be a Gas Safe registered Gas engineerIdeally be qualified and accredited by Gas Safe in commercial gas modules to include CIGA1, CORT1, CENWAT and TPCP1AExperience maintaining Gas equipment / pipe work and hot and cold water systems18th edition or supplementary electrical skills will be highly desirableExperience of completing job certificates in an electronic formatFull UK Driving Licence is required, as this vacancy will involve travel within a specified area for which a van or car will be provided.Demonstrable experience of liaising with customersExperience of working alone or as part of a teamA good level of PC literacy
