2 positions available:

1 x 37 hours per week (5 days per week) - Permanent

1 x 22.2 hours per week (3 days per week - Tuesday - Thursday) - 12-month fixed term/secondment opportunity

Your New Role

Within this role you will work within a busy team providing a front-line service to a range of teams within Adult Social finance team and Adult Social Care clients. This will include include carrying out billing functions such as taking payments and reconciling client accounts, providing direct administrative support to the FAB and ASC Debt Recovery Teams and as well as ad-hoc support to the wider team. You will deal with a range of administrative tasks, including booking appointment, actioning various tasks to ensure the clients ASC invoice is accurate at the end of each month, dealing with enquiries via post telephone or in person. In addition, you will process incoming and outgoing mail (via electronic or letter) typing and sending letters, maintaining records and files. The role will require the daily use of various electronic systems such as "ContrOCC" the ASC Finance system and "Fusion" the Corporate Finance system to view client records, book appointments, deal with queries both internally and externally, reconcile accounts and ensure the client is being charged correctly for their Adult Social Care services.

What you'll need to succeed

With excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a finance environment, you will have a high standard of literacy and numeracy as well as an understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Metal Capacity Act 2005. With working experience of office procedures and strong IT skills, you will have a strong attention to detail, good analytical skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and plan and prioritise your work. In addition, you will have excellent written communication skills, including excellent letter writing and note taking. You will have a solid understanding of GDPR and how to work within this legislation.
