Millfield School is seeking a Day House Manager to work Saturdays during term time in a year 9 mixed day house.
As a Day House Manager, you will be joining a small team of staff who work together to ensure that the pupils feel safe, secure and at home, whilst also playing a pivotal part in making sure the house runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
We offer two options: either 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM or 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM every Saturday during term time (27 Saturdays per year). If you choose the 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM option, it includes a one-hour paid break, which will be scheduled throughout the day at the Housemistress’s discretion.
The rate of pay is £12.51 per hour. For the 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM hours this equates to an annual salary of £1,989.09 (inclusive of holiday pay). For the 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM hours, this equates to an annual salary of £4,077.63 (inclusive of holiday pay).
