We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Asset Data Officer at Advance. Advance is a specialist supported housing association that is on an exciting journey to deliver more services and develop more housing for people with learning difficulties, disabilities and supporting people towards greater independent living.
We are looking for someone to join us on a 7-month fixed term basis to support our implementation of the MIS ActiveH Housing and Asset Management system. You will lead on the new stock condition survey and data improvement activities.
As a Data Officer within the Property Services Team, you will work closely with the Surveyors, Customer Services and Compliance teams to improve asset knowledge and support the maintenance of the organisation's new Asset Management system.
You will join the project team, collaborating closely with the Project Manager and consultants at MIS.
The role and Responsibilities of a Senior Asset Data Officer will include:
- Act as the Property Services champion for data integrity and data governance; Super user of asset management software; responsible for ensuring efficient and effective use of all available modules and consistent functionality across the organisation. Key link between asset management system and other Advance interfaces i.e. SAVA Intelligent Energy
- Identify new data sets and prepare them for ActiveH including OS Open UPRN data These UPRNs are primarily allocated by Local Authorities, giving you confidence that addresses match the correct properties
- Managing the test plan and effectiveness of the system configuration and processes built in ActiveH. Supporting colleagues to complete user acceptance training
- Design and create the new surveys/forms and test with the surveyors including stock condition and HHSRS
- Preparing the training content and lead on the training with support from internal colleagues
- Document new processes and add to the process library
In addition to the critical tasks above for delivering the project, this role can focus on embedding the importance of Asset data quality, pre and post go live by:
- Ensuring good quality and accurate information about Advance stock is collected and maintained. To ensure data integrity is maintained, and that data management systems and data collection methods are in place across the department
- Manage preparation of planned programmes of work that will ensure stock continues to meet the appropriate government standards and legislation for quality and energy efficiency
- Responsible for co-ordinating the collation of Key Performance Indicators for the Property Services; collating evidence to support this and implementing a robust data validation procedure
- Responsible for gathering stock condition data; ensure all properties are surveyed once every five years and be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of stock condition survey management
