We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Prosthetic Technician who has an eye for detail with a technical aptitude.
Working as a Prosthetic Technician you will join a small multi-disciplinary team of Prosthetists and Technicians based in Wirral. Wirral is situated in the North West of England. It has a stunning coastline and a beautiful countryside, making it a great place to live and work.
As a Prosthetic Technician you will be responsible for the manufacture, design, adjustment and repairs of prosthetic devices to the specification prescribed by the Prosthetist and component manufacturer.
Applicants ideally will have proven experience in a similar role, but less experienced candidates will be considered. A technical aptitude and good hand to eye co-ordination skills including an eye for detail are the suitable traits.
The successful candidate will receive continuing professional development and will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, support and resources with in-house colleagues.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As a Prosthetic Technician you will have the following skills and experience:
• Previous experience and training in prosthetics is essential
• The successful applicant will consistently achieve high quality standards and meet tight deadlines
• To integrate and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within the Wirral clinic
• To understand and adhere to the requirements of health and safety legislation in compliance with the health and safety at work act
Candidates will be required to have the right to work in the UK
