We are looking for a talented apprentice teaching assistant to join our growing team of staff. If you feel you have what it takes to work with us and feel passionate about meeting the needs of our student’s, we would very much like to hear from you.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Under the guidance and direction of your line manager you will:
- Assist the Executive Head teacher and teachers in the development and
implementation of a programme of work
- Help to provide a stable, caring and supportive learning environment.
- Be sensitive to times when you will need to step back in order for pupils to achieve
their full learning potential.
- Facilitate social and moral development.
- Support pupils who may present serious challenges in their learning and or
behaviour.
- Support learners in becoming more readily engaged in activities
- Support on a one to one basis or in groups.
- Feel comfortable and confident with very diverse learners.
- Assist the class teacher and/or Senior TA with record keeping
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Functional Skills in English and maths Level 2 if required.
- End Point Assessment: Practical workplace observation; Q&A session; Professional

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Possible permanent employment on completion of the apprenticeship.
