Shift Pattern: 24/7 Night Shifts (TT 5 Shift) - Includes shift allowance, a 3% flexibility premium, and opportunities for overtime.
Hourly Pay Rate: £12.66 - £13.87 (Depending on experience)

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Analytical Technician to join our team at the Barry Site. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Chemistry, offering a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for conducting various analytical tests to support our operations. This position is a shift-based role, requiring flexibility to work nights, with the potential for both short-term and long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical tests in accordance with standard procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Record and analyze data, ensuring that findings are documented and reported accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of workwear such as lab coats.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that all analytical activities support the operational needs of the site.
Qualifications:
- Educational Level: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in an analytical laboratory is preferred but not required.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is essential.
Additional Information:
- Medical Check: A medical check is required for this position.
- Workwear: Lab coat and appropriate safety gear must be worn at all times.
- Shift Work: This role requires working night shifts on a 24/7 schedule, with the opportunity for overtime.
