Monday to Friday flexible between 8am & 6pm (40 hour week)
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled team member to join our clients dynamic team. This role combines hands-on technical work with crucial administrative tasks to ensure that customer-defined requirements are met with operational excellence.
Part of this role will involve working on Electric Vehicles (EVs), so you must be trained to carry out EV related work whether diagnostic or repair related work.
Scope of the role:
• Work distribution: 60% working on vehicles and 40% administering warranty.
• Vehicle specialisation: Work on brand specific vehicles, including Electric Vehicles (EVs)
• Service & Repair: Carry out Manufacturer Based Services adhering to manufacturer specific requirements.
• Diagnostic Work: Conduct complex diagnostic work, adhering to the best repair methods as outlined by the manufacturer.
• Warranty Administration: Process and administer warranty claims accurately, following manufacturer-specific processes.
• Offer guidance, development support for colleagues on diagnosis and best repair methods.
• To manage individual times and focus on won efficiencies and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warranty & Repairs: Execute warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer processes.
• Timely & High-Quality Work: Deliver work on time and to a high standard, following instructions meticulously.
• Training & Development: Undergo a minimum of 5 years of manufacturer-specific training, gaining qualifications, especially for EVs.
• Data Analysis: Read, analyse an understand complex mechanical and electrical data to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate record of work carried out.
Scheduling & Claims: Schedule warranty work with the workshops
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Brand qualifications are desirable but full training will be provided.
• Ability to adapt to new systems and keep up with evolving products through manufacturer-supported programs.
• Strong team player to ensure departmental success.
• Ability use own initiative, adapt quickly to changes and work effectively.
• Ability to provide concise and legible write-ups of work carried out.
