Summary of role
You will be responsible for designing end-to end digital and in-person learning experiences for apprenticeships and commercial offerings, using Instructional Design theory to develop storyboards, scripts, workshops, videos and immersive learning experiences for Babington’s diverse learner populations.
Responsibilities
Create learner-centric blended learning solutions, using diverse content formats such as e-learning, workshops, handouts, videos, on the job activities and interactive learning exercises.
Storyboard and script content for all learning assets including video, immersive learning, digital and physical learning resources (including virtual and physical classroom).
Lead and manage projects to ensure consistent and effective learning experiences are created and learning objectives are met.
Develop clear design guides, using Instructional Design pedagogy, for use across Babington’s programme development team.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2+ years of Instructional Design / Learning Design experience, ideally in the apprenticeship sector.
Understanding of Articulate Rise and/or Storyline, and how to create clear design guides for development.
Experience of designing blended learning solutions for apprenticeships and/or professional qualifications
Experience of scripting written content from storyboards, turning technical content into a learner-centric narrative.
Ability to visualise the learner journey and design an engaging user experience.
