Store Detective - Nottingham and Surrounding AreasHourly Rate: £12.46
Hours: 50 hours/week
Job OverviewAs a Store Detective, you will work across our client's network of stores in and around Nottingham and surrounding area's to prevent stock theft. Your observation skills will be crucial in identifying, apprehending, and prosecuting criminals targeting our client.

Key Responsibilities
-Observe, Deter, and Arrest: Monitor activities to prevent and address criminal behavior.
-Civil Recovery: Issue civil recovery notices where applicable.
-Collaboration: Liaise with local police and crime prevention partners to stay informed on crime trends.
-Network Building: Develop local contacts to identify and disrupt criminal activity.
-Incident Reporting: Report incidents accurately and promptly.
-Court Attendance: Occasionally provide evidence in court.
Qualifications and Skills
-SIA Door Supervisor Licence: A valid licence is required.
-Adaptability: Able to handle varying situations daily.
-Calm Under Pressure: Quick and composed reactions in challenging situations.
-Customer Service Experience: Strong background in customer-facing roles.
-Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, preferably with a GCSE or equivalent in English.
-Proactive Approach: Forward-thinking with a desire to improve work practices.
-Self-Motivation: Can-do attitude and drive to learn.
-Observational Skills: Exceptional ability to handle sensitive situations and make quick decisions.
-Confidence: Ability to challenge individuals when necessary.
-Technical Proficiency: Competent in using modern surveillance systems like CCTV.
