Crynodeb
The Recruitment Co are recruiting for Trommel Checkers for a waste recycling company based in Little Hulton, M38.
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Prior experience or knowledge of the waste industry is desirable
- You must be hardworking, reliable and flexible
- You must be able to work as part of a team and have good communication skills
- You must have an understanding of industry safety standards (safety conscious)
- You must have good observational skills and be able to work quickly
- Checking trommel (fixed plant) outdoors so must be willing to work in all elements and environments.
- Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance to the trommel (fixed plant) under the instruction and supervision of the Welders.
- Periods of longstanding and a lot of walking, with few breaks so must be physically fit for the role.
- Must have good English or Polish communication skills so can clearly converse over a two-way radio.
- Must have an interest/ be mechanically minded but no formal qualification required.
- Subject to a month trial period and if successful rate of pay will be reviewed to reflect individuals experience, skill set and commitment to role.
The hours of work are 5 days week (This consists of 4 days in the week and Saturday) 8am-8:30pm
£11.44 per hour
