Reporting To: Head of People Development & EDI
IN SHORT
The EDI & People Development Adviser will be pivotal in supporting our drive in fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment across MK College Group. The successful candidate will support the Head of People Development & EDI and the Learning & Development team in crafting and executing strategies that promote equality, diversity and development across the organisation. They will support with the evaluation of the impact of these initiatives, support training sessions to enhance cultural sensitivity, and be the first point of contact for management and staff on related matters. Additionally, they will analyse workforce demographics to guide people development, recruitment, ensure legal compliance, and collaborate with various teams to nurture an inclusive culture, advocating for these values at all levels of the organisation.
You’ll ideally be familiar with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and it would be a huge advantage if you have experience of using a HR system. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, good at working with others and likes a challenge. The opportunity to work in a dynamic and agile team means that no two days are the same.
