Are you ready to tackle the challenges of disaster recovery with expertise and compassion? ICE Services Group is looking for a BDMA Specialised Cleaning Technicians who are not only skilled in general restoration but some experience in either mould remediation, trauma, and biohazard disaster response.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct specialist cleaning and restoration of properties, residential, commercial and industrial, affected by fire, water, mould, trauma, and biohazard disasters.
Perform mould remediation tasks, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of environments affected by fungal growth.
Respond to trauma scenes, providing compassionate and efficient cleanup services while adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
Manage biohazard disasters, including the safe disposal of hazardous materials and the decontamination of affected areas.
Utilise industry knowledge and training to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure the highest quality of service.
Train and supervise trainee technicians, imparting valuable skills and knowledge.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment on all sites and vans.
Requirements:
Proven experience in either fire, water, mould, trauma, and biohazard damage restoration works.
BDMA Technician certificate or equivalent (preferred).
Strong communication skills and basic competency in maths and English language.
Full, clean UK driving license and CSCS card.
Flexibility with travel and working hours, including potential overtime
Any of the following certification/accreditation would be beneficial:
BICSC - The British Institute of Cleaning Science
CITB - Construction Industry Training Board
IPAF - International Powered Access Federation
PASMA - Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association
IOSH - Institution of Occupational Safety and Health
NACSC - National Academy of Crime Scene Cleaners
