Crynodeb
Will have the ability to work on any planning CT machine or calculation area taking on the lead role of that area. Expected to co-ordinate all areas of the process to ensure targets are met for all aspects of the radiotherapy pathway. Have the specialist clinical knowledge to lead advice and treat in all areas of radiotherapy treatment. To have good knowledge of the pretreatment area of radiotherapy; for the purpose of planning patients, include on-call purposes for emergency patients on bank-holiday and weekend working. Have excellent knowledge and ability to perform all complex manual and computerised calculations, checks of calculations, radiotherapy planning treatment, data information, patients pathway information and analysis all information prior to radiotherapy planning CT ensuring the information is accurate and safe, adhering to the Ionising Radiation Medical Exposure Regulations (IRMER).
