Part-time GP Administrator
15-20 hours per week to be agreed.
Salary: Dependant on experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent part time GP Administrator from 15- 20 hours per week to join Howe of Fife Medical Practice Ladybank Fife. Applicants will demonstrate good communication and organisational skills and will be working as part of a team with the ability to work without direct supervision. A flexible approach to hours worked to cover other shifts when required is essential.
As the first point of contact for patients this position requires someone with a welcoming manner who can stay calm under pressure, is confident dealing with the public and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role covers a wide range of duties including dealing with patients at the reception and on the telephone, making appointments, dealing with general enquiries, generating prescriptions, scanning and filing clinical correspondence, dealing with laboratory results and general clerical duties supporting our clinical team.
Knowledge of Microsoft and I.T skills are essential and experience of working with GP systems is desirable however training will be given.
