Crynodeb
We are currently looking for Sales Assistants for our busy stores in Whitby.
We have a variety of part & full time vacancies both permanent and seasonal.
The successful applicants should ideally have previous retail (or similar) experience (although full training will be provided) and upon request provide two references including one cash handling, you will be working as part of a small team.
Applicants should be aged 18+ with availability to start ASAP.
Pay exceeds national minimums relevant to age.
We currently have the following positions available:
x2 Sales Assistant (permanent) 14+ hours over 2-3 days
Start date ASAP
Whilst some positions are permanent/year round please note that hours and days are approximate and subject to seasonal restrictions.
Positions are duel roles covering our bookstore and gift shop, both located on Church Street, Whitby.
Applicants should be flexible as hours will include early evenings (during peak times), weekends and bank holidays. Extra hours may be available during peak times and the position will be required to work extra hours to cover staff holidays.
Please note we do not authorise staff holidays during peak season & school holidays.
Duties will include assisting customers, cash handling, stock taking, merchandising, dealing with deliveries, some heavy lifting and keeping the store clean and tidy.
We are seeking motivated, well presented, enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
