The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting Production Operators to work for our blue chip client in Killingworth. Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing industry. They design and build various products including battery separator lines, extruders, and parts using in-house engineering, machining, and fabrication resources. This role is temp to perm for the right candidate.
The role: Assist on the production line Feeding products on and off the production line Palletise finished products ready for dispatch Remove any unwanted packaging, cardboard etc (where necessary) General housekeeping duties The ideal candidate: No experience required as the site is unique to the UK and training will be provided Production, factory, FLT and shift work experience is advantageous, but not essential Ability to work well within a team, or use own initiative working alone Due to hygiene standards on site, employees must be cleanly shaven when at work Hours of work: 12hr continental shifts in line with a yearly shift planner 42hrs per week average Days - 06:30am - 18:30pm / Nights - 18:30pm - 06:30am 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights Every other weekend off Rate of pay: £13.31 per hour Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: On-going assignments Weekly pay Holiday entitlement Personal accident insurance On-line Payslips Pension provision Suitable candidates will be contacted and invited to register online.
