Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar setting, preferably with a focus on elderly care
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs, and food safety guidelines
- Ability to effectively train, lead, and manage a kitchen team
- Compassion and empathy for the needs of elderly individuals

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute balanced and appetizing menus that meet the dietary needs of elderly individuals
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, taking into account individual dietary restrictions and preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service
- Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare professionals to develop menus that promote residents' well-being
