An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Business Services Continuous Improvement Team for a Continuous Improvement and Employee Engagement Officer.
The role is to support the development of continuous improvement activities across Business Services Processing and Assessments teams, as directed by the Continuous Improvement Manager.
The post holder will work to identify and action service improvements by reviewing existing processes, using process mapping and data analytics, to find efficiencies in time and cost as well as maximising income to the Council where possible. They will also undertake training of staff members for any new or revised processes.
It is essential, that you have experience working with stakeholders and delivering outcomes aswell as knowledge of, at least one or more of the following functions.
• Council Tax
• Non-Domestic Rates
• Administration of Care at Home, Residential Care,
• Scottish Welfare Fund,
• Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction
You must have effective literacy, numeracy, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
It is essential you have a responsible approach to sensitive information, the ability to analyse and present management information and work as part of a team and on own initiative.
It is also essential you are ICT literate and have experience of using a variety of software packages and have the ability to provide reports in writing and/or verbally.
