As a Games Development Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that cover the core principles of game development. Your role will involve teaching students the skills needed to create games from concept to completion, where you will provide hands on instruction using industry standard software, tools and techniques.

This post will see you delivering 2D and 3D modelling, animation, games design and game engines. This involves covering a variety of topics such as game mechanics, level design and interactive storytelling. We are looking for a passionate Games Development Teacher who fosters a creative and collaborative learning environment that encourages students to explore their ideas and develop their skills. As you will support students to develop their own game projects, you will stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the gaming industry to ensure students receive current and relevant instruction.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in game development with experience in game design, programming or a related field. Requirements for knowledge in Unreal Engine is a must and either Blender, Maya, Zbrush or other industry modelling software is highly desirable.

Previous teaching experience is not necessary; however, you must have the ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. If you have a love for games and a passion for education, we would love to hear from you!
