Summary
Your new role
We are looking for a dynamic IT Operations Manager to join our clients' team. If you have a passion for technology and a drive to make a significant impact, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
IT Management:
- Windows clients and firewalls (mostly Windows 10)
- Endpoint Security (e.g., SentinelOne)
- Windows Servers (2016, 2019, 2022), Exchange Server 2016, SQL Server
- Hyper-V and server hardening
- SonicWall firewalls
- Network security, VLANs, switching, routing
- Telecoms (phone providers, ISPs, etc.)
- Limited Linux support
- Disaster recovery, archiving, and backups
Operational Services:
- GDPR compliance
- Data analysis for Sales, Marketing, and Operations (e.g., SQL querying, Advanced Excel)
- Overseeing Finance, HR, Marketing, Operational Cost Control, Internal Sales Administration, Customer Service, Facilities, H&S, Regulatory compliance & certification, Logistics, Warehouse & Production Operations, and Legal services.
What you'll need to succeed
Must-Have Skills:
- Excellent IT skills (L3+)
- Good maths and arithmetic
- Excellent English language proficiency
- Experience managing teams
- Hands-on self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Strong commercial thinking and numerical skills
- Relevant technical skills and knowledge
- Good analytical skills
- High-level Excel (Pivot tables, etc.)
- SQL database querying
- Excellent record-keeping and structured network filing
Advantageous Skills:
- Legal experience (e.g., commercial contracts)
- HR experience
- Negotiation experience (e.g., purchasing equipment/services)
