Principle Accountabilities 1. To develop and maintain an expertise in report writing and analysing and distributing useful workforce information. Learn and develop skills on the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Business Intelligence report suite, including creating bespoke reports, and the advanced use of Microsoft Excel 2. Setting up new users on HR Systems and carry out 1 to 1 training of new staff on the system when required, and provide support to service users. 3. To provide and promote Workforce Information expertise to Directorates and Service departments. Supporting the Trust with a high quality Workforce Information service to enable the pursuit of corporate and departmental goals and objectives. Ensure that information provided is validated, accurate, appropriate and presented to the agreed and defined standard. 4. Regularly carry out data quality checks on the systems in liaison with the Payroll, and Recruitment Administration teams and pursue action to correct identified errors. 5. Support reporting required to comply with external audits of information held in HR systems. 6. Provide responses to Freedom of Information requests, compliant with Information Governance guidelines. 7. Support the HR Systems Lead with a monthly reconciliation of data held in ESR with the Financial ledger 8. Assist in the implementation of new developments in the use of HR Systems. 9. Operate as an active member of the Workforce Information Team and the HR Function as a whole and have the ability to communicate successfully with all levels of the Trust. 10. Actively support the Trust in the design, implementation and maintenance phases of Human Resources & Trust initiatives 11. Maintain an awareness of human resources issues at local and national level and contribute generally to the information needs of the Directorate of Human Resources. 12. Participate in local, regional and national Workforce related forums as a representative of the Trust. 13. Participate in team, professional and personal development activities and promote a commitment to continuous development and improvement. 14. Any other appropriate duties to ensure the development and maintenance of a high quality, responsive and efficient Workforce Information Service.
