We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at a large hotel on an estate in Scotland. It's an amazing opportunity and the chance to further your career in branded hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining health and safety standards within food and beverage operations.



Responsibilities

-Oversee and manage food and beverage outlets within the hotel, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery
-Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction
-Manage and lead a diverse team of food and beverage professionals, providing training, guidance, and support as needed
-Monitor and maintain health and safety standards in all food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices
-Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food and beverage services for events and special occasions
-Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary to drive continuous improvement


Qualifications

-Proven experience in a similar role within a large hotel or hospitality environment
-Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and empower a diverse team
-In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control, and menu planning
-Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in a food and beverage setting
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
-Degree or certification in hospitality management or a related field is preferred


As a member of our team, You will:

-Collaborate with the executive team to set goals for the food and beverage department
-Monitor daily operations, addressing any issues and ensuring all outlets are running smoothly
-Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment
-Review financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective strategies
-Engage with guests to gather feedback and address any concerns to enhance their overall experience
-Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing changes as needed to maintain a competitive edge
