In this role, the successful applicant will train under the Modern Apprentice programme as an Electronics and Instrumentation Technician working in the Technical Services Organisation of the School of Physics and Astronomy providing technical support for research projects and teaching activities using a wide range of Electronics and related technologies. The postholder will be required to attend a 20-week basic training program at EKGTA training centre in East Kilbride which includes certificated completion of SVQ2 units.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on a fixed term basis for up to 3 years in the first instance.
