Hiring Master Upholsterer in Leicester

BREAKDOWN OF THE UPHOLSTERER ROLE:
• Products: Mainly chairs (dining, side chairs) and sofa, foot stools
• Starting Salary: £16.17 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 8AM to 5PM and Friday 8AM to 1PM.
• Minimum of 5 years experience start to finish experience in both modern and traditional upholstery, combined with sewing skills.
• Permanent Position
• Location: Rustington, United Kingdom
DUTIES FOR THE UPHOLSTERER ROLE:
• Using power and hand tools to cut fabric into the framework in the assembly of furniture.
• Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
• Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns or stencils and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.
IDEAL UPHOLSTERER:
• Good attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is essential
• Must have had experience as an upholsterer from start to finish.
