Crynodeb
The church is looking for a temporary church worker to support the leaders and management of the church in various ways. This is a supporting role but experience with working as a church office assistant in a celestial church setting will be an added advantage.
Duties include but not limited to:
Supporting the church head in various activities during church services.
Supporting the officiating minister during church services.
Supporting in the area of visiting the sick and needy to offer welfare/assistance.
Supporting the leaders of the church to carry out weekly services/programmes.
Supporting in the area of sorting and distributing food and clothing materials for community service or during the church social responsibilities.
Supporting in the area of hospital, prison and community outreaches.
Supporting in the distribution of articles, leaflets, tracts and evangelism materials.
Working with the church head to deliver spiritual messages to members and the people in general.
General responsibilities
Serve as a resource to church staff and committee leaders as necessary.
To engage in outreach with other workers and ministers as requested from time to time with a view to reaching our community with the message of hope.
Minimum qualifications
Candidate must be a Christian, a Celestial member with Celestial background.
Candidate must be able to communicate in Yoruba language as an additional language to English.
Candidate must have 2 years minimum working experience.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate passion for Christ and His Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry. Also, seek to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to His Kingdom.
Duration of employment is 1 year fixed term contract.
