Summary


We require a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as the Housekeeper for the Emergency Department where you will play an important role in working together with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the patients receive safe, clean and personal care every time



You will work with another housekeeper to maintain high standards contributing to an effective patient journey. The role will include the undertaking of daily organisation, management of stock, maintenance of department equipment audits and cleanliness of the clinical and non-clinical environments.

You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction in a highly pressurised environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.

It is essential that you are willing to undertake an active role in general organisation of the unit and are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.

Previous experience of working in a hospital setting would be advantageous to this role, however in-house training will be provided.
