Crynodeb
Our client, is seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives for temp-to-perm positions at the Morrisons Warehouse in Bridgwater (TA6 4AT). This is a permanent, full-time role with a pay rate of £12.25 -£13.50 per hour. Overtime is paid at £14.70 per hour, and there is a 10% premium for weekend work, 30 minute paid break also. Shift patterns vary from 6 AM - 2 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, and 10 PM - 6 AM, with 70% of shifts on days.
Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in coordinating daily warehouse and distribution activities while maintaining excellent health and safety practices. Responsibilities include:
Working in the chill section of the Morrisons Warehouse
Performing high levels of manual handling, including moving cages up to 400 kilos
Loading and unloading vehicles
Picking and packing goods
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and qualifications, although we encourage all interested applicants to apply:
Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative in a logistics environment or similar role
Familiarity with Manual Handling Procedures (desirable)
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing at the interview stage
Recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent (preferred)
