Job Description
What is the role?
To undertake duties connected with the removal of domestic, commercial and industrial refuse from all types of locations by working as part of a team to carry out waste collection.
To undertake driving duties involving LGV refuse collection vehicles, recycling, street cleaning and other waste management vehicles. To be responsible for the crew and the vehicle on a daily basis.

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 5; the hourly rate is from £13.76 to £14.85 and the annual salary is from £26,547 to £28,650 plus a 5% non core allowance.
Weekly alternating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday - Thursday 0545am - 1400pm; Friday 0545am - 1330pm
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday 1345pm - 2200pm; Friday 1315pm - 2100pm
- Alternate day/back shifts
