Title: CNC Edge Banding / Machine Operative EDGE BANDER OPERATIVE REQUIRED ASAP
The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently seeking an edge bander operative to join our client, a leading manufacturer in Stoke on Trent. If you have a passion for woodworking and a background in precision craftsmanship, apply today!
Duties can include:
Set up and operate edge bander to fabricate wooden components.
Select and prepare wood materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.
Inspect finished components for defects, accuracy, and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Days of work are 06:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday & 06:00-16:00 on a Friday.
Candidates must be reliable and hard working along with previous edge banding experience. Temp to perm position available!
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Ongoing Assignment
- Overtime Available
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
