About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a part time (30 hours) Support Worker at Mably House in Hatfield.
9-5 shifts Monday to Friday - working 4 days (flexible on non working day)

Mably House provides supported housing for 35 vulnerable homeless individuals/families
Providing housing related support to service users from a homeless background.

We aim to provide accommodation and support to improve the quality of the resident`s lives and develop skills towards independent living in the future. Residents are issued with a licence agreement. This sets out their rights and responsibilities as a resident.
Our aim is to provide trauma-informed support services, which enable people to develop their independent-living skills in readiness for move-on into other less supported accommodation or independence.
Working as part of a dedicated team, your role as a Support Worker is to:

Provide high quality, trauma-informed, strengths based, person-centred support.
Co-produce support plans with the people who use our services which meets their needs and support their aspirations.
Complete risk assessments and agree risk management plans to minimise any identified risks in accordance with Hightown's policies and procedures.
To signpost to relevant agencies that work with substance misuse and mental health where relevant and encourage engagement.
Work as part of a team, actively participating in meetings, bringing forward ideas and contributing to relevant decisions.

You will need to be able to:

Work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working

It is essential that you are able to work to a rota and have a driving license and access to a vehicle for work.
