Crynodeb
Blueprint are currently looking for a Lead Bench Hand Joiner, to join our clients busy workshop, on a Permanent, Full Time basis.
The company are a leaders in their field, producing for example bespoke doors, skirtings, architraves, fixtures and fittings for high-end refurbishment projects across the city. The finished products will replicate or compliment the existing fixtures and fittings and the wood colour matched, so that when fitted look authentic.
You will be joining a tight group of craftsmen, working for a well known and successful company who are responsible for many high-profile projects. The company are looking for what could be descibed as a 'Traditional Bench Joiner', using wood to construct single items and not mass produced, repetative everyday products.
As a Bench Joiner you will already have the following skills and experience:
A proven background, with a wide experience in Bench Joinery.
Experience building / producing bespoke wood products in line with your trade.
A proactive solution provider, able to contribute in a flexible team environment
Experience of working within a low volume batch environment.
Ability to read and understand technical joinery details and drawings.
Proactive nature and keen to work within a skilled small team, taking responsibility for your role.
Experience in the use of some workshop machines would be beneficial.
This role has an immediate start available and comes with a generous rate of pay.
As the lead Bench Joiner, you will be required to have extensive Bench joinery experience, with the additional responsibility of supervising the team, and liasing with clients, measuring jobs up and helping to make sure they get the service they desire.
Excellent Salary, negotiable depending on experience.
