Location: Suffolk (hybrid working arrangements).
Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time. (If part time can we do job share as this role will need to be the full time equivalent. Would prefer one person however)
Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full
- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part
- time approach where possible.
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.
Closing date: Wednesday 28th August
Interviews are expected to begin onsite in early September.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support with construction to start this year.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Officer to join our team at Sizewell C. You will play an integral role in nurturing a healthy, supportive and productive work environment for our employees. This an onsite workers only who may be placed in accommodation throughout East Suffolk – people working in London offices etc will not have access to the services as they will be Suffolk based.
Taking a proactive approach you will liaise with local community partners proposing innovative incentives. You will spearhead initiatives to enhance wellbeing and positive mental health, acting as a passionate ambassador for Sizewell C to organise and host engaging events that foster a culture of positive wellbeing.
Supporting our Mental Health First Aiders, you will help to ensure your colleagues receive the necessary resources and advice to maintain their mental and physical health.
This role requires a balance of onsite presence and offsite engagement to effectively meet and support employees wherever they are. Ability to manage own workload and work independently is essential.

We are seeking a Wellbeing Officer who is passionate about promoting wellbeing and mental health. This role requires someone who can engage effortlessly with employees at all levels, both onsite and remotely across Suffolk, building strong, inclusive relationships that reflect our company culture.
You will take a proactive approach to propose and implement innovative initiatives that resonate with our diverse workforce. Your ability to drive change and offer new ideas will establish you as a trusted resource for our employees.
You will excel as a dynamic event host and ambassador for Sizewell C, embodying our values and commitment to fostering a supportive and healthy work environment.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar wellbeing or mental health support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to the role.
- Knowledge of wellbeing and mental health best practices.
- Ability to host or network at events and activities and act as a passionate ambassador for Sizewell C
- Flexibility to work onsite and offsite as required.
