Temporary Care Assistant required to assist an 8 year old boy living in the Consett area to access social activitiesRate of Pay: £12 per hour
Minimum 4 hours per week term time evenings or alternate weekends – days to be negotiated/flexible. Extra hours are available during school holidays
Care Assistant required to assist a young boy to access the community and social activities he enjoys. He is a member of the National Trust and Beamish and the Care Assistants role would be to assist him with the family on occasions or take him out into the community on a 1:1 basis. It would be preferred that the successful applicant would have some experience with autistic children but not necessary as training can be provided. The important attributes of the Care Assistant would be to be caring, patient, and friendly as well as being flexible.A clean Driving Licence would be required and access to own car would be an advantage but not necessary.An enhanced DBS will be required but this will be paid for by the employer
