Crynodeb
The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver to fill a driving position in Dartford. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 Licence and must have Class 2 driving experience.
This position is in a Class 2 vehicle, performing the collection and delivery of palletised supplies in the south east area from a curtain side, and often a tail lift truck. This will mostly be to and from industrial areas. Due to the nature of the work the vast majority will be loaded and unloaded for you on site by forklift, but you may be required to use a pump truck for your loads. Some customer facing experience would be beneficial too as you would be acting as the face of the company.
Monday to Friday work.06:00 start time
Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver: Perform complete pre and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home. Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Requirements of the Class 2 Driver Category C Licence Class 2 Driving experience Current and in date CPC & Digicard Verifiable references Commercial driving experience Compensation of the Class 2 Driver
The starting salary for this position is £16.00 hourly PAYE
