Escape Recruitment are working with their Manufacturing client based in Fife to recruit An Electrical Technician on a permanent basis.
Successful candidates will be time served, with control system experience. Preferably you will have IEE 17th Edition and compEx 01-04 Hazardous area system and installation qualification.
We are looking to hire for Workshop based roles.
You must be able to produce trade papers on application
JOB PURPOSE
To construct, install, maintain and commission electrical systems and installations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret all aspects of electrical engineering drawings.
- Selection and erection of Ex rated cable glands, containment, enclosures, cabling and connectors.
- Knowledgeable of various electrical components.
- Inspection and testing of electrical systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues as required.
- Install, commission and test client and Company specific equipment as required.
- Create detailed service reports, maintain accurate records, complete all paperwork, test procedures, risk assessments and tool box talks to a very high standard.
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required.
I am looking to speak with candidates who can demonstrate a high standard in completion of tasks associated with the role. You will have a heavy engineering background and be confident to work unsupervised.
