An opportunity has arisen for Semi Senior Practice Accountant with3 years of PQE in accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm. In this role, you will support senior accountants, manage a client portfolio, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Prepare financial statements and reports according to accounting standards.
- Conduct tax planning and prepare tax returns using Taxcalc.
- Use Xero and QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Assist in training and developing junior staff.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Practice Accountant or in a similar role.
- MAAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
- Understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Skilled in using TaxCalc, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
