We are looking for a resilient, robust, self motivated clerical supervisor to join our Single Point of Access team. The successful applicant will be confident, motivated, good communicator, be able to oversee staff performance, provide guidance & support, identify development needs. The successful candidate will be accountable for a team of 7 clerical officers who process referrals, input data, take telephone queries, book appointments, cancel clinics, prepare reports and other general office duties.
The role will involve daily supervision of a team of clerical officers based at Castle hill centre, this post is a full time position over 7 days, 365 days per year, the current shift patterns are 08:00-16:00 & 09:00-17:00 (weekend shift is 08:30-16:30). The is includes working weekends, 1 in 3.
Part of the job role will include yearly appraisals, one to one meetings with staff, sickness calls, return to work interviews, ensuring mandatory training is completed in line with trust policy. Completing the staff roster ensuring sufficient cover is provided for a safe service, identifying any gaps and sourcing alternative cover, sometimes at very short notice.
