We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and dedicated nurse to join the Haematology Specialist Nursing team at Salford Care Organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering high quality, personalised care to patients with various haematological malignancies.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide a comprehensive specialist service to patients with a suspected or proven haematological malignancy.
The aim of the post is to provide expert care, specialist advice and support (financial, social, psychological) to patients with haematological malignancies, their families, and carers. This includes a holistic patient assessment, and planning and implementing specialist care.
The post holder will act as the key worker for haematology patients from investigation to initial diagnosis and throughout the whole cancer pathway to ensure coordination and continuity of care.
The post holder will liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, including members of the Primary Health Care Team, to provide specialist nursing knowledge and expertise on all aspects of Haematology-Oncology.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
